Web Page

After reading articles and checking out other web pages, I found many commonalities within each. However, some are a little overwhelming for me personally, neat is better, so I need to keep this in mind when designing mine. When I create my web page, the five components that I would incorporate into my page are as follows: 1) General Information--this would include, hours of operation, mission statement and policies (rules) of the library, contacts, etc. 2)Teacher Section--Each section would have topics that pertain to them, such as schedules, resource links, on-line catalog (easy access to available books), book summaries with reading Lexiles attached, etc. 3) Student Section-these sections would have links that pertain to students, book summaries, Lexile levels, appropriate resource links, educational gaming areas. 4) "Buzz" Section--(I liked this idea from other web pages I looked at) This would include, "word of the day", "problem of the week", "quotes of the day", and information on "special happenings" within the school. 5)Major Curriculum Area--I would like to list website links that relate to each curriculum area. Example: Social Studies--NA sites.

RSS Feed

This is the first time I have used the RSS feed. I have added all blogs to this area and I hope it will make it a lot easier to access information from the group. I am excited to see how it works and the information I can access without having to search for hours or even days. As I have stated before, less is more. And if takes less time to access information, I am all for it.
The only trouble I had setting this up was that I had to download Chrome reader in order to access the information to set up the account. Otherwise, it was very simple to utilize.

Yes, I posted this once on my welcome page, but I needed to get it posted on a new blog, sorry about this. Thanks for everyone's patience.
